Tom doesn't have everything he needs. It's been a long time since he had a good time with Dan, but he still has a hard time letting go of the old times. In the same way every day, he goes through the motions, becoming more and more disconnected from the people around him. Dan has the answer. Tom needs to see it to believe it. Tonight. Dan tells Tom something that makes him feel uncomfortable and makes him think of bad things. It also binds him and his friend together with its ugly secret.
Gut, a low-budget film that screened at 30 film check here festivals in 2012, tells the story of two friends who have grown apart as adults but reunite after one of them acquires a collection of snuff films. However, things quickly go from bad to worse as it turns out the videos look so real for a reason... In light of the fact that this is a low-budget film, I'm unsure if I'll be pleasantly surprised by this or if I'll be disappointed.
